In 2004,
Martin County, Fla., endured one of the most devastating
stormseasons in recorded history, with two major hurricanes
(Frances and Jeanne) making landfall in the county
within a three-week period. NorthStar Geomatics assisted Martin County in obtaining more than
$17 million in cost reimbursement
for debris removal. NorthStar’s documentation
would later become critical in successfully resolving an issue
involving a denial from FEMA for $3.45million of this cost reimbursement.
